चंदन जैसा सधु है, सर्प हि सब संसार
ताके अंग लप्ता रहे, मना मे नहि विकार  
Chandan jaisa sadhu hai, sarp he sab sansar
Take yang lapta rahe, mana mai nahi vikar
Literal meaning: A good person is like a sandal tree and the world is like a snake. The snake resides on the sandal tree but the sandal tree does not become poisonous.

Explanation: Just like sandal tree, if a person is pure and good from his heart then any number of evil will not be able to spoil him.

Persons, who are not strong from inside get disturbed from the surroundings. Be strong in your convictions, so that no one can deviate you from your path.
