Question Type - 15 -
A leader wants to place his 5000 employees in equal row and coloum. Find the no of rows and the number of employees left out
Answer - 15-
In these type of question first find the square root and the reminder.
The square root is the no of rows and the reminder is left out persons.
In this case square root is 70 and reminder is 100.
The no of rows and coloum are 70 and left out employees are 100.
Important
(1) A perfect square, if divided by '3' leaves a reminder of '0' or '1'
(2) The square root of a number less than '0' if always more than the number e.g.
square root of 0.04 is 0.2
square root of 0.09 is 0.3
(3) The square root of a number more than '0' if always more than the number e.g.
square root of 4 is 2
square root of 1.2544 is 1.12
