Literal meaning: People worship idols made from stone. If it was possible to reach God this way then I will worship a mountain. No one worships home flour mill which gives us the flour to eat.
Explanation: It is not against worship, but it is against those people who only show off.
There are many people, who only pretend that they are doing good for others. If you go in details, you will find that they are doing nothing. You must be aware of these people and give importance to the worthy people. The people who is serving the nation, poor and society.
In this dohey the example is of 'chakki', who gives us flour to eat. Similarly we must respect the persons, who are contributing towards society in any form.
